Cannot send pictures

  donmac47 21:15 08 Apr 2009

I have a hotmail address and my broadband provider is Sky. I send my e-mails using Windows Live Mail. When I forward an e-mail with a picture (not an attachment) in the message the picture doesn't go with the message and the recipient sees a blank box with a red x in thr top right corner. Cilcking on the x has no effect.

Can someone tell me how to rectify this?

Is it just the one person? If so the problem may be at their end.

Try re-sending email with pic in HTML format.

Sorry don't know how. Many of the pictures are integrated within the e-mail.

The option to use HTML Format for your emails should be found within your email program. I can't offer exact instructions because I only use Incredimail for my emails. Probably under Tools ???

PS - maybe I worded my first response wrong - I did not mean to make your pictures HTML - but your emails should be in HTML Format, as opposed to Plain Text.
