Cannot send emails to people with AOL accounts

Can anyone help with this as any emails sent to an AOL account are blocked. This is not just to one account but to several accounts in various parts of the U.K.

AOL do that from time to time, they block mail from certain providers because of spam that has been relayed through the now-blocked provider. There's not much you can do about it until AOL disable the block.

can you "reply" to an e-mail

Coincidence or not I use Aol and they must be in the middle of a blitz on spam.

Have found 7 important emails in the spam folder over the last 5 days.
By contrast the spam folde which normally holds up to 250 real spam is empty.

Try Pamy's suggestion as a temporary measure, or ask your Aol friends to look in their spam folder and choose the "this is not spam" button to resurrect it.

they not getting through the aol servers nevermind into recipients spam folder. We cannot reply to any emails recieved from AOL users. Message returned says that "smtp communication cannot be achieved through recipients mail server" or words to that effect.

I have no problems in sending messages to AOL in the USA.

Cannot comment on AOL UK; perhaps they are having problems.

Who is your email provider, or are you using webmail, like Hotmail for example?

Eclipse internet.

I would suggest that Eclipse internet is on AOL's block list. You can find out for sure by getting in contact with their postmaster. click here
