cannot open OK attachments in hotmail

I have tried to send 2 small programs (2KB, 330K)as attachments to my personel hotmail account, from my work PC. They are just standard commercial programs with no viruses. Hotmail says it has permanently blocked these attachments as they could pontentially contain viruses. This is crap (works PC has powerful corporate antivirus). Is there any way round this other than copying to a floppy disk?

I think you will find most e.mail programs will block sending programs. I think they detect the exe file. Have you tried zipping them and sending as a zip file.

doubt it unless you have a non hotmail address at home or try yahoo mail might be less sensitive

Zip does not normally work because Most mail filter can check the content of zipped file.
