cannot find FLATBED.EXE

  alexgray104 11:11 02 Dec 2005

On my user on my pc when the tray items are loadedit says "could not load or run FLATBED.EXE specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry." I worked out thiat this is from the tray icon of the old scanner I recently removed from the pc. It only comes up on my name, but then it was only installed on my name. Does anybody know how I can remove the reference to it in the registry. Many thanks in advance for your much appreciated help.

Are you familiar with the registry?

If so, open it and search for the file anme.

First though, run msconfig and see if it is listed there. if it is, untick it.
