Help,

Before I started deleting I had 20 pics and now I have 400????

Open and name a new folder, then transfer all your picture to the new folder. Then delete that folder. If it's large you may need to hold down Shift and hit Delete.

johnnyrocker is correct, the prolonged use of the ctrl button will generate copies.

Why would someone be touching the CTRL button?

  VoG II 19:15 18 Apr 2008

"Why would someone be touching the CTRL button?"

To select multiple pics, presumably.

if they are all in one place try edit/select all then select delete?

I am sure rawprawn's suggestion will work. Drag the new folder with the files in it to the recycle bin.

yes the key to your problem is the control button
instead of delete you copy,i know what your doing
its faster click first one, hold control hover over rest job done, but no you end up with copys
i would surgest select photos to keep send to new file , then delete rest in one block ie delete
total file any help come back

Instead of holding down the Ctrl button, hold down Shift instead, then they will be deleted.

Highlight First pic, hold down Shift, highlight Last pic, hit delete on the keyboard.
