Canceling new response e-mails...

  Quickbeam 16:35 29 Sep 2008

I'm looking all over this site to see how I unsubscribe from the new response e-mails.

I've just deleted about 2500 of them from the folder they go to (obviously I never look at them), but I can't for the life of me see how to cancel them!

next time open one of the emails and usually there is something somewhere to opt out of the emails.not 100% sure but usually i think thats the way.

perhaps the forum editor can enlighten you

As far as I know, you only get notifications for threads you started, not those you've subsequently contributed to.

When creating the new thread you have the option - quote:

By default you will be notified by email if someone responds to this discussion subject. If you do not want to receive email notification of new message posts, please uncheck the box.

You should make sure that when you initiate a Thread, that you do (or do not) can't remember which, tick the box that asks for response emails.

FE is a bigger man than to hold that against you, if you ask him a proper question, he will give you a proper answer!

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
