Cancel sent e-mails

Can e-mails that have been sent to an old, slow pc be deleted during "send/receive"? They are being received by Microsoft Outlook and must be too big for the old computer as they seem to jam the processor. Can the receiver stop the process and delete the e-mails to free up the system?

You need a means of logging onto the pop3 server and deleting the emails that you don't want.

Try Mailwasher - at click here - tell it the pop3 name and password and then view the emails on the server and delete them.

But the speed of the pc does not matter too much - it is the internet connection which will determine the download time.

I had a similar problem and a call to your ISP and they will delete them and sort it out for you.
