Can ZoneAlarm and Windows XP Firewall co-exist?

I want to install ZoneAlarm from the PCA cover disk. But I read somewhere that XP already has a built in firewall.

So do I need to first uninstall/cripple the XP version (if yes - how do I do this)?

Or can I simply install ZoneAlarm 3.1 and let the install procedure take care of everything?

There is NO need whatsoever to run both as there is no need to run two AVs. Your chances of being hacked on a home computer is the same as getting 6 lotto numbers. ZA will deal with all forms of 'intrusion'. Having 2 is total overkill. To disable the firewall check this out...click here
