Can you link an A1200 to a PC?

  HannibalCat 20:40 24 Sep 2007

I have a towered Amiga 1200 in perfect working order. On it I have all my writing that I created in Final Writer and all the artwork I made in Deluxe Paint and Perfect Paint. Is there any way to link the A1200 to my PC so that the two may communicate and I don't have to copy all my writing a word at a time by typing it all in again on my PC word processor?

GOOD SPOT Technotiger, thanks mate..

This is what link says...

It's troublesome to get this cable working at all with the PC2Amiga software under Windows XP, apparently due to how XP handles MS-DOS access the parallel port. Some users have managed to get PC2Amiga working with a little effort, while others haven't. Myself, I couldn't get it to work at all with this cable.

My advice is to buy a null modem cable instead - it will work with PC2Amiga or Cloanto's Amiga Explorer, and has much better support overall.
