Can you instruct windows to minimise to tray?

Hi there folks. Does anyone know whether it is possible to minimise windows to the tray rather than to the taskbar? I use Mozilla and have found the extension that allows you to minimise the browser to the tray really helpful and I was wondering if it was possible with other applications i.e. media players etc. I listen to the radio through these programmes and it's a pain having to take space up on the taskbar all day when I minimise.

Any suggestions folks?

Have a look at some of these click here= and in particular click here

I have not used this so cannot vouch for it, but you may find something of use from the other listings in the Google search.

Cheers GroupFC,

The forum is so helpful that I forget that "googling" it can be helpful. Various programmes out there for anyone who's interested. Personally have tried a couple that are free, one crashed the PC so can't recommend POWER MENU but also found a nice little programme that does a free version.

It's called 4T Tray Minimizer and can be found here :-

It seems to do exactly what I want and for programmes that I leave running seems ideal.

GroupFC thanks very much for the help ;O)
