Can you back up a system restore point

Can I write a system restore point to disk. So I can always go back to my daum poin no mater when?.
I want to get round the 30 day limit basicaly.

If you take a Restore Point and then backup your System State to a removeable media you are in effect backing up that restore point.

(Note: System State backup is an option in the standard Microsoft Backup Utility supplied with your OS)

THere isn't a 30 day limit - the limit is set by the amount of disk space you allocate.

Sorry I was not sure if a normal back up was the same as system restore. Yet I learn something new again. Thanks for the help.
