Don't know about XP but I found getting DOS programs to run on Win98 a pretty hit-and-miss affair. It's been a while since I've done it, but I seem to remember the best way was to create an MS-DOS based floppy and copy my autoexec.bat and config.sys files to it, then boot from it. Unfortunately, I also remember having to fiddle around a lot (sound was often a prob) and in some cases give up. Wish you the best of luck though (I remember playing Superfrog on my Amiga, fab game!).
