Can' t edit scanned Yellow Pages sheet

  micklemouse 12:26 29 Jun 2004

I have been asked to add a line to an advert by my bro to his advert in Yellow pages and so I cut out the sheet and scanned it in Edit format using PaperPort scanner. But when I send the sheet - which is A4 size - to Word or Notepad to be edtited, the size of the page is far too large and all the frame and banner is missing. How do I correct this and make the page the same size as the real one?

When you scan something (anything) it becomes a picture, which can't be edited. To edit a text scan you need to put it through an OCR. Your scanner installation CD would normally have an OCR on it (like Textbridge, or Omnipage) Check your install CD.
