I am using XP Pro, Aol, AVG and Zone Alarm.I can open this site click here but if I click on the badge as indicated nothing further happens. It doesn't freeze, just won't open anything more. This is the only site I know of where I get stuck. Certainly the fault has been there for some time, I just haven't bothered. The site manager says it works for him and I have no reason to doubt it.I have tried ignoring the Aol screen and opening this site in IE (version 6)instead, but no difference.Possibly blocked by ZA or AVG?IF so where do I look and what must I do?
Hi, when I clicked on that badge, it opened as expected.Maybe you need to set it in the Exceptions list in your firewall - though I did not have to do that or make any other alterations, it simply opened correctly as normal.
Maybe a glitch in the Registry - try CCleaner click here
PS - I am using Firefox.
Works OK for me, looks like a security setting issue probably in the firewall, is everything set to default in your browser?
It worked for me using ZA, but I use Avast, so maybe AVG is the culprit.
no problem opening the first main page then clicking on the badge and 'entering' viewing with IE6, Hosts installed and running avg7.5 ; no adjustment to my firewall required either
I just tried it with IE7 opens OK.
It all works for me using 98se and Netscape 7.2
I would say that it is some kind of blocking software on your computer or in your browser that is doing it. check all firewalls
works ok here xp pro ie6. might you have a rogue pop up stopper?johnny
