Can phone calls be made from Broadband?

Hi I used to use my phone for faxing and phone calls. Now I am on Broad band is there any way I cxan still use the PC for phone calls.

I am on NTL BB and no, you can't dial out on it. I have had to put my dialup modem back in and use that for faxes and phone calls. I did post this problem a while ago now. I will see if I can find it and point you to it.

Ever since I've been on broadband I've also had my dial up modem connected as well exactly for the purposes you require - fax and some voice calls.

I all works very happily together and I've had no problems in several machines since I first got BB in 2001.

ADSL is a digital service, and voice calls are analogue. The two co-exist quite happily on one phone line.
