Can Laptop use 2 different networks?

  griffo 22:50 12 Jul 2003

I use my laptop on our LAN when in the office. I want to set up a LAN at home for 2 desktops (1 on W98 & 1 on W98SE, mainly to share Internet connection. Downstairs PC uses USB cinnection to BT Home Highway ISDN. Can't decide whether to go wired or wireless, will probably go wired for more certain operation (and cost!). My main query is, will my laptop (uses XP Pro) be able to work on the Home LAN as well as the Office LAN?

Yes (provided the work LAN is set up to use a DHCP server) - see click here
