can i use pata hard disk on new pc with sata hd

hi everyone

please i need your help.

i had old pc with (old pata hard disk).

Recently i bought new pc with(sata hard disk).

i have 2 pata hard disks,and would like to use them on my new pc which use sata hard disk.

-Is there any splitter or converter to buy to be able to use the pata hard disk to sata hard disk?

-From where can i buy it from and what it called?

-i don't need to have any error or problem by using these splitter,please.

Your new PC might already have an IDE connection on the motherboard, check it out before buying anything else. One IDE connection will let you connect your two PATA drives, one as Master and one as Slave.

Hi again

I forgot to tell you that one of the pata hard disk i have is with external enclosure,the other without anything thing,i need to buy another external enclosure.

If i connect them to my new pc through usb plug,will it work?

I don't want to see the blue screen or any other error.

the new pc specification:

intel quad core Q6600
windows vista ultimate
2 GB memory
512 MB 8800 gts graphic card

the old pc:
windows xp home edition
2 GB memory
2400 xt sapphire graphic card
