Due to conflicts with another capture device I have got to replace a Radeon9250 for a card that does not have Video in or out. It seems all 8x cards have video in or out,I have a 2x card I can use to temporarily will this and if I buy a 4x be ok.

AGP devices are backwards cimpatible so you should be ok with a 4x card. click here for more info.

All 8X cards do not have VI/VO.

As stated above, the AGP slot is backwards compatible and will accept whatever card, you opt for.

Thanks all, TomJerry it is the drivers of the capture card,They crash windows when I attempt to install them and the manufacturer has told me they will conflict with any card that has video in or out.
