Sorry, the above link is for Office 2000.

For Office 2003 click here and select the version you intend to upgrade to.

Follow the links to identify the products that qualify for an upgrade.

Works 2004 will almost certainly qualify for an Office upgrade CD.

How about going for the student version of MS Office. I understand is less than £100 and you don't have to provide any proof that you, or someone in your family, are/is a student.

Yes, you can if it has the full version of "Word" in your "Works suite" The other programs are incedentil to the up-grade but make sure you have the 2002 version of word in your works suite. It should be unles you have jusr "Works" this may have it's own version and does not qulify fot the upgrade. But the later version do use the full "Word"

Fire up "Word" and click on the help Icon top right then "About "Word" it will give the version.

Good luck, Microsoft are generally very good about these things. If you are still not sure, [But trust me!} give them a phone call on TEL: 0870 60 10 100

im with peter on this, if you can afford it, go for the office student edition. no ID required.
