Can I stop zoosk ?

Hi all, W7.

I’m getting a bit miffed at receiving emails from zoosk.mail to one of my new Hotmail addresses. I have several new addresses, but these only come to one of them – so far.

On the face of it, it seems to be a boarder-line ‘dating’ site, or could be pure filth. I haven’t looked into it. I was getting 1 every day, which was bad enough, but am now getting 4 or 5 per day. There is no ‘unsubscribe’ etc. Does anyone else get this one ? How do we deal with it ?

thanks

Never click on the 'Unsubcribe' it just confirms to the spammers that it is a legit email and you will get even more.

I'm running things via Thunderbird.

Where I get the option of where to send offending files, two of the options are:

1/ Delete

2/ Delete from Hub.

I'm assuming 'delete from hub' would be best,,,, or would it ?

Login on Microsoft Webmail server for your Hotmail and mark/report the email(s) as spam.

Just blocking Thunderbird from collecting means that your Webmail Inbox will still get them and they will all be there filling up your mailbox.

Blocking senders is practically useless as spammers change their purported "address" with every message ClickHere

cheers Lotvic,

That seems better.

I've been very lucky over the years & not had much of that to deal with.

Will keep my eye on each mail program now.

thanks
