I personally go for Gigabyte 7VAXP and yes it supports AMD ATHLON XP 2400+ and 2600+ and it is about £90 and has the following features:

KT 400, 333,266, etc.
DDR2100, 2700, 3100.
6Channel sound,
2 Firewire
4 USB 2.0 (faster than USB 1.1)
AGP 8X graphics port
Front USB 2.0
Ethernet port
3GB DDR max
5 PCI and 2.2 compliant
And all standard features and ports.

I have built one with this mobo and it is the best and at a low price!!!

Get it for £88 just click here

this is where I got it from !

Hope this helps.

as gaz25 said, the gigabyte boards are very good. am using the vax version of the one he recommended ( doesn't have raid like the vaxp ) the link he has posted, has a nice bundle of the vaxp and xp2400+ for just under £200 or have a look at this site click here

good luck in ya choice
