I would like to download a zip file, and then place parts of it into a plugin section of a program I use. The thing is, within the download are things that I do not need, is it possible to drag and drop the parts that I want from the unziped file into the program where I need it.
And how is the best way to do this?
I am using XP home.

You can drag and drop program files just like any other files, but they won't always work when you do that.

But assuming you know that the files you're interested in will work the way you want, you can either unzip all the contents of the .zip file into a temporary folder (you usually get a question about where you want to unzip them to -- either their original locations or to another folder) and then drag and drop those you are interested in from the temporary folder: Or you can usually select specific files to unzip, and then specify where they are to go.
