Im going to buy a DVD writer very soon but im not sure which one to go for, there are many below £50.i was thinking of buying from Ebuyer also how do i know if my motherboard needs an IDE one or notsorry im not to clued up on computer hardware!!
I asked the same question a few weeks ago click here Good Luck HTH TR
Go for the LG4120B, do you have a CD player in your pc and a single hard drive?
i have a dvd drive and a separate cd writer but only one hard disk
go for the NEC 3500a it is dual layer and got a reccomended in this magazines write up will cost around £50 for an oem version
Wait until christmas or after.Believe me it will be worth it!!
if you buy an oem version make sure of what you will actually get (and what you require) these do not come with some extras ie software, mounting screws, cables, instructions etcpattops NEC 3500a LG4120B both ok reviewed in this mag
I have just installed a Panasonic DVR-108, 16x Dual layer, multi-format. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!Available in Biege (£48.05) or Black from ebuyer, although the black one is £6.35 more!
These are oem versions so, as kspatto says you will not get everything you need!!
You can try Lite-On DVD writer
these all sound good but OEM's dont sound like what im after as i would need the software etc
