I have a 'Win TV Go'card from Hauppauge and it is fine. I am upgrding to 'Win TV Theatre' to get stereo sound, but the 'go' card is still a decent enough card.

First preference is for the Pinnacle PCTV - £30 in PC world at the moment.

Or the Hauggauge card - £10 more.

I heve installed both and both have pros and cons, but I would go with the pinnacle.

I have an unused TV Card. No time to watch TV, so not worth paying the licence fee.

Send me a £30 cheque for Oxfam and the card is yours. CD and Installation guide included but no cardboard box. Will send in a Jiffy bag.

Thank you all for your advice.

My kids have decided that they can watch tv on their portable tv's instead as they don't trust me to do the job properley.
