camcorder to pc

to day I ordered a pci card to put my camcorder to the pc,, It has the s vidio connection and the fire wire . so I thought great I will put my cam to my pc . I brought out the cam corder I bought last year and I had not used it much . any way when I started to use it .yes the batteries were flat .the cost of a new one £92 pounds.If only one found out the cost of a replacment battery before puchase .I know I will try and find out before my next one ,do you guys know of a camcorder with a long lasting battery .at resonable cost

Why do you need to replace the battery, are you not able to recharge it?

Did you get a charger with your camera as per sattman? This will usually have a power out socket and cable that allows you to run the camera without battery.

PS Have a word with your local Jessups camera shop. You might find the battery a little less exspensive.
