Calling All You WMA Experts For Help

Hey, after ripping my CDs though Windows Media Player I had unknowingly tikcked the enable personal right management check box, I've got all the licenses for the files, but how can I unprotect the files so that I can transfer them to my portable player? Some of you might suggest clicking on "Find Album Information" but it doesnt work as most of the CDs I have made are complations of tracks on my other cds

Another thing, is how do I edit the tags of the WMA files, cos in Winamp there is no facility and even if I edit the filename in Windows Media Player, the change is not reflected in Winamp.

Many thanks!

Hi WunOf@K!nD

I'm no expert in WMP, but in WMP9, if you wish to edit the tag info, as long as the files are WMA format, r/click on a column entry and this brings a drop down menu, with an item Advanced Tag Editor, select this and you can edit more tags than I care to mention !

Hope this helps a little!
