Hi, if it is Audigy2 there should have been a separate games port connection and cable supplied.

it was a 24 bit sound blaster live

Yes, there is no game port on this particular model. To confirm this click here

"Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit

On-Board Connectors

- Front Left/Right or Headphone Out
- Rear Left/Right/Surround Right
- Center/Sub/Surround Left
- Line In / Microphone In / Digital I/O*
- Aux Audio in"

I would suggest to return & get a refund (if you can) & purchase one with a game port. Do your research before buying click here&. HTH, G

Get a USB game pad

Hi again, Crossbow7 has right idea - take card back and exchange for Audigy2 with game port connection. It is what I have, a very good card.
Or, as woodchip says, get a usb game pad or usb joystick. Cheers.

Or a usb joystick.

Must hit refresh more often.

If you're happy with the card other than lack of game port do as woodchip advises and get a usb gamepad or joystick, they are far more accurate and much easier to setup.

Also I think you may have problems with return or refund after having installed the card.
