C Drive filling up on its own

  Mjdl 13:41 19 Jan 2008

I've had a new Acer laptop for just over a week with a 120gb hd although C drive shows total space of 51GB and D drive a total 48GB. Acer say 10GB is used for system restore and is hidden from view. By my calculations, this 10GB is part of the 27GB of used space on the C drive. I've moved my documents to the D drive. So where is the other 20GB?

Also, the C drive is lossing space. Today, remeining space has dropped from 23.7 to 23.5GB and all I've done is browesed the internet. Only a few MB is temp internet files. Did disk clean up yesterday, but this appeared to take more space rather than free it up. I wasnt watching too closly, but I reckon I've lost 2GB in a week without downloading or creating new documents. Help please.
