C cleaner for vista

  Mr "B" 08:22 01 Feb 2009

Hi, i've just downloaded the c cleaner software for my pc which is windows vista premium home edition and was just wondering if i need to untick any of the options in the settings page of the software which might harm my pc. And if this a perfectly good bit of software to run to keep my pc running smooth and quick? Thankyou.

"Ccleaner" is fine with Vista and there shouldn't be any settings that will do any harm. There are some things that you might not want to "clean" each time, such as cookies, browsing history etc., but these are your personal preferences. Just go through each of the selected options to be sure that you want them to be cleaned when you run the program.

I am running Vista premium and have CCleanerand no there is nothing special you need to do.

I have been using CCleaner for some years now both XP and Vista.A useful addition to any PC setup.

I have used Ccleaner on XP and Vista. I always tick ALL of the options with no ill effects on any machine.
