Hello,
I want a cable which will go from my filter(which is plugged into the telephone socket) to my 'speed touch' 330 modem.
In PC store they appear to be about £15.
On ebuyer belkin high speed internet modem cable RJ11 to RJ11 male(2 m) they are £1.85 +post (quick find 119209)
Also I want an additional filter
PC world about £15
Ebuyer (quick find 39530) safecom ADSL splitter/micro filter 99p + post.
Are these similar products that would satisfy my needs or do you get what you pay for?
Any comments please

£15 ??

"Don't touch" and "bargepole" spring to mind.

Belkin are a well-known, more that adequate manufacturer of cables, etc - buy their cable.

Use somebody like Solwise for filters.

Hi gel

Hmm - I can only relate from my experience; cables generally tend to be alike what ever you pay; but ADSL splitters can be fussy. I wouldn't go spending £15 on one; but £5 wouldn't be out of the question. We've had a lot of faulty cheapo filters; but never any faulty cables.

Hope this helps

Best regards
