Burning Problem

  montoya 11:15 14 Mar 2004

I have just bought a plextor px-708uf which I have used to sucesfully backup a couple of DVd's. I am trying to burn a dvd from a video on my hard drive. The software is reading the video files but when it asks me to put a writeable disc in the burner, it starts to initialize the burner, tries to format the disc and then ejects the disc. It repeats this action a few times and then says that there was a problem burning the dvd. No idea why this is happening. could it be that the video is too big to fit on the disc?
