Burning pdf files to a cd-rom?

  albu 20:03 21 May 2007

I tried to burn some pdf files to a cd-rom using win XP's built in software, but it only burned the folder and not the contents.

The pdf folder had files on the hard drive, when I copied to the cd-rom the folders were empty?

Is there any other software out there that can do this without any problems?

Thanks for your help?

If the pdfs are in a folder, open the folder and try copying the pdf files to cd.

You could try DeepBurner Free 1.8 click here

Make a new folder somwhere on your HD. Name it whatever you wish.

Inside it, make the principal PDF folder.

Name it the same as its PDF counterpart.
Make more subfolders as you need.

Then open a PDF folder - select ALL, Copy, and Paste in the new folder of the same title.
Do it for every folder that has PDFs that you want to burn.

....Then try and burn the contents of you own named holding folder to a CD.

This may not work (I annoyed myself sending it having pressed the response button instead of Clear)

What I suggested is more or less what you have been trying to do.

I had Nero bundled with the last device I bought and if recap's suggestion wont work then it is time to look for some more fancy software.
