Are you saking about the file format or the Nero settings? There is some good advice regarding the settings for burning using Nero here click here

saking = asking. Sorry

The three things you need to think about are

Is the file in a format that others can read (ie - it's no use sending our MS Power Point presentations and assuming everyone can automatically open them).

Is the CD "closed" or "finalised" - if it is it's just a CD-ROM just like any other. If it's "open" (ie available for more data to be added), then some systems may not be able to open it. This is a tick box in Nero - so just set it correctly.

All systems might include all Windows PCs, but might not include MACs and/or other types of system.
