I recently purchased 512mb pc2700 ddr sdram for £50 at local computer fair and then found if i had shopped around a little within the same computer fair i could have purchase 1gig of the very same for £70.what area do you live in?
i found 512mb 400mhz ddr ram for 66 quid online (not sure of make might have been samsung - novatech.co.uk) i think thats pretty reasonable, but i must admit i havent read anything about 400mhz ram being unstable. ill check those sites u posted now, cheers.
this is good site for finding the cheapest prices click here on the web
good pc fair up tottenham court rd on saturday, get off tube at goodge st (northern line) turn left out of exit and follow signs or warren st (victoria & piccadilly) turn right out of exit pass pc world follow signs
*You should be looking for 333mhz memory (pc2700) i think, 400mhz memory is both unstable and overpriced at the moment.*
Hmmm i have been running my PC2700 at PC3200 CAS2 for 6 months and my PC isnt unstable. As the FSB of the processor is 800MHz you want the fastest RAM the mobo will take or you are just slowing the processor down.
