I have been emailing Buffalo support in UK for the past 6 weeks. I have a problem that lots of others are experiencing, which is my router loses its settings. They are the most unco-operative, obstructive support centre I have ever experienced. They fail to read the description of the problem, they cannot supply a remedy. I have tried all the things they suggested. Instead of suggesting returning the unit, they have abandoned my case, and left me with a defective unit. They are allegedly almost worse than Belkin.
