Has anyone else received a warning today re a dodgy Budweiser Frogs screensaver containing a 'vicious virus' that is circulating? My warning included the claim that microsoft had issued the original notice!!!

Another wind up?

I had a Budweiser frogs screensaver years ago on a Windows 3.1 machine and it was great. You pressed Alt+B for "Bud", then Alt+W for "Weis" and Alt+E for "Er". To this day I don't know what happened to it but I doubt it would work properly on Windows XP. It might have gone with the old machine when I threw it out... If this is the one that people are on about then it won't be a virus - but there could be a new one. The one I had was only in 256 colours so you could tell it was old.

has been doing the rounds for years - in fact it's been so long since I heard of it I thought it had died a death.

Ignore it - you certainly shouldn't forward it to anyone else.

Make no mistake, I haven't. That is why I mentioned wind up in my post.
