BT Wireless Voyager 2500v-2a

  Spr 22:04 03 Jul 2010

Over the past couple of days my Internet connection has been down from approx 10.00hrs till about 21.00hrs although my PC shows I’m still connected.
I have noticed the DSL light has been flickering, the wireless Network Connection show Excellent Strength.
Can anyone be tapping into my modern or can the weather be interfering with the signal.

I have a PC with Vista & Laptop windows 7 any help will be appreciated

Hi Spr, the wireless signal strength has nothing to do with the flashing DSL light, if the DSL light is flashing this means there is a problem with your telephone line, either in your property or externally. First check the wiring from your modem to the telephone socket, maybe try a different filter if you have one, if that all seems OK then you will have to contact your provider. The DSL light must be solid, when it is it means that it's locked onto the exchange, when it's flashing you will not be able to connect to the internet regardless of your wireless strength.

Hope this helps.
