BT Services compatible with other Wireless Routers

We have a big old Victorian house with thick walls. BT Homehub was useless and no way to screw on more powerful aerial; anyway that wouldn't have worked as when we installed a Netgear DG834Gv2 we had to add Power Line Networking (isn't it brilliant) and a WG602 Wireless Access Point. Now we have wireless and wired facilities all over the house and with FON added so do lots of people around us! (Don't you just love Skype!?)
However, we are paying for BT facilities and without the hub can't access them - is there any way we can achieve such access (television and their VOIP phone) with existing set up? If we remove the trusty Netgear Wireless Router and replace it with the Homehub will all the rest of our well established networking still work?
