BT Internet SSL Problem

I am wondering if someone is able to help me with a problem i am having in setting up email accounts from BT. They have been working up till now but for some reason they arent now.

The following error message i get is:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): OUtlook could not connect to the incoming mail server (POP3). The problem could be your SSL or port settings for the incoming server. Verify your port and SSL settings under More Settings on the Advanced tab.

All account and password information has been checked, double checked and checked again, even by someone from the BT helpdesk.

Does anyone on here have any idea what I can try to solve this problem??

Just for info i am using oUtlook 2003.

Disable email AV scanning if you use it.
