bt homehub phone stuck only screen that dows "Downloading" tried taking batteries out for over a day cant find a reset button on the device anywhere how can this be fixed?
Has the phone been activated by BT?
yes it has been used it said "an update is required" then got stuck on that
In that case, I would give BT a call, they were pretty helpful when I first setup my HomeHub phone.

Did you have the phone in an external cradle or the cradle attached to the HUB. its the cradle connection on the hub thats required for updateing.There is no reset button on the hubphone
yup and its been in there for a week with no change to the screen
reset your Hub then once its done try manually updateing your phone.from Menu / handset settings / software / you should the get the update settings
