is this me or is it BT? Got brand new computer specially for bt homenetwork. Installed modem on one computer - fine - installed PC adaptor on new computer - home network connection fine but rest of computer's ***ed! (IDE controllers have !!!s and CD rom drive's vanished.) Message says 'IDE controller has some child devices using 32 bit drivers....this configuration not supported by your computer...etc..you may be able to obtain updated driver for device thats causing the problem by contacting your hardware manufacturer.' If the broadband works ok, presumably I've not done anything wrong; if my computer is new, presumably it's not got a problem - will I need to spend hours and pounds contacting the BT home network helpline? Is it their pc adaptor? many thanks!!
