Hi all

Is it possible to connect 2 separate computers to the internet (through different wall sockets) if:

a) You have a BT home hub attached to one computer.
b) A speedtouch 330 attached to the other.
c) Your ISP is BT.
d) You can connect separately but not at the same time.

Cheers

Yes, provided that the USB Modem and the Home Hub are *NOT* both connected to the phone line at the same time. It does rather defeat the purpose of using a Router (which the Home Hub is) and if you've gone through a training period with your ADSL connection to ascertain the maximum speed at which you can connect, swapping the connections could screw this up and result in you having slow internet connections.

The Home Hub should be providing the internet access for all of your computers.
