Can anybody help. I have a BT Home Hub and I am trying to use the Netgear DG834 as a repeater because the Home Hub connot be seen on my son's PC. Distance problem.
I have set up the Netgear and it is reistered on the Home Hub as a repeater but I cannot get internet access. I am sure it is just a simple set up problem but I cannot get to the bottom of it.
The Netgear is not connected to the telephone line.
The SSID is the same on both units, I am using Channel 6. I have WPS disabled. I have the same WEP code on both units.
Hopefully somebody has done this before.

try using a wireless access point ( click here ) it plugs in via ethernet (get a 35m cable click here ) that might do it. not sure

I don't think that the Netgear DG834 can be used as a repeater for the HomeHub.
You could get another HomeHub off of Ebay that should work.
