BT Home Hub with different ISP

I have a BT Home Hub as I use to be a BT Broadband customer. Due to difficulties transferring the account to a new home I have subscribed with a new ISP but would still like to use the wireless capability on the Home Hub. I got into the configuration of the Hub and changed the Internet details but when I click connect it denies me access to the new ISP. Any ideas?

It may well be that your home hub has been hard coded so that it can only be used with BT Broadband. I had a similar problem when I was with Wanadoo. I purchased their wireless livebox and when I changed provider I could not use the livebox. I ended up buying a USR wireless router in the end. I would check to see if that is the case.
