browsing the web

When I'm browsing the web, I know that I can press the upper case key as I click the link OR right click the link and select 'open in new window' to get a new window. BUT I seem to remember there is a setting so that a 'left' click on the link will automatically open in a new window. Can anyone remind me of this setting.
(Windows XP and Internet explorer v6)

Fruit Bat, thanks for the link but that does not help. I'm going to have a look at tweak UI, the answer may have been there.

Click the link with your mouse wheel (if that makes any sense). This always opens the link in a new tab for me. Handy for reading"click heres" on this forum without leaving the page.
