Hey all! This is Crespo calling. I'm using Internet Explorer 6 as my browser on my laptop. I've just been made aware of the availability of IE7 as beta upgrade.I'm stiil learning - being a newbie & all that - but i know beta isn't the definitive version & so carries a few risks. Can anyone out there recommend risking the upgrade to 7? I know Firefox is out there, but i'm unfamiliar with it & don't use it.The guy in the computer shop where i bought my machine had it installed already. As my boss says - better the devil you know! Any advice & opinion, as always, will be v. appreciated. Cheers.C.

The final version of IE 7 will soon be issued as a Windows update.

I would wait until then.

Regarding Firefox and/or Opera, load them and try them. They do not conflict with IE and you may find you like them better. I use Firefox as my default browser and also Opera for a "change of scenery." It's rare for me to use IE.
