Thanks woodchip. I tried the sfc /scannow but it still didn't work. I tried searching for ie.inf but couldn't find file. I have used sys restore and its working again now. I had removed a trial prog postcastserver pro. I wonder if the uninstall has removed an IE file? Thans again everone for the help esp woodchip :-)
