Brodband connection stopped working

I have my broadband account with Tiscali and connect using a BT Voyager router.
My desktop computer is a Dell, running XP, and is connected using a cable. My laptop is also a Dell, a Vostro, and is connected wirelessly. In addition, my daughter is staying with me and her Acer Aspire also connects wirelessly.
Until a fortnight ago everything was working well then the desktop stopped connecting to the internet.It appears as though it is connecting, showing traffic, but always ends with the page showing the toolbars and address bars at the top but no page content. If I knew how I could show a screen shot of the page. This happens in both Firefox and IE.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried re-setting the router?

Disconnect the router from the mains, wait at least ten seconds, then re-connect it to the mains. Then wait a short while until it finalises the re-connection.

Is this all pages?

What happens if you click 'Refresh'?

If it is just your machine and not the others a simple solution would be to perform a System Restore to before the problem.
