Broadband x2

If I sign up with a supplier and they supply the Broadband module to plug into a USB slot, can I then plug it into another PC and use it? I have two PC’s on different floors and wish to use them both at different times. They are currently both connected to the same ISP.

just load the supplied software on both PCs
BB is tied to the phone line not the PC you use it on

yes, just load the s/ware on both machines, and move Modem from 1 to other when required- or purchase 2nd modem-or go wireless !

Your best bet would be to purchase a wireless ADSL router, plug this into one PC and phone line, then get a USB WiFi adaptor for the second PC, then both PCs can be online at the same time.

the adsl router link wasn't much use.
