Broadband Usage Monitor 11:39 25 Jan 2006

I have a limited usage (12GB/month upload and download)Broadband account.

Can anyone suggest a good Broadband Usage Monitor I can use.

A good isp will have this info in their services/management pages. 13:46 25 Jan 2006

Thank you MichelleC.

Yes BTIreland do provide the service but it is updated daily. If I check now it tells me how much I used up to midnight yesterday.

Ideally I would like a desktop Broadband Monitor that would tell me my exact usage whenever I want.

netmeter is the one i use, monitors your up+downloads, gives daily/weekly/monthly/total reports, you can set a alarm to warn if you are getting near your limit.

only thing to remember is that it is per pc, so if you have more than one pc using the same bb connection, you would need to install netmeter on each one and add the usages together. only downer i can find....

its also free and pretty easy to set up.

I use Tautology Meter - it keeps a daily and monthly record and is very easy to use:
